FREEDOM MATTERS! Do you love freedom but feel it crumbling away beneath your feet? Would you like to learn more about freedom's foundation, and how we can perpetuate it? Join us for one of the fascinating Scholar Classes we are offering this year for parents. (In an effort to meet the needs of Parent Scholars of all levels, there will be two different types of advanced parent classes offered this year. Please select the one that most fits your needs.)
ADVANCED PARENT CLASS: This two-semester class will be a scholarly, exciting journey through the Principles of Freedom and their impact on the Founding of America. We will be exploring in depth the book: "The US Constitution and The 196 Indispensable Principles of Freedom" by Oliver DeMille. We will also be using "The Majesty of God's Law" by W. Cleon Skousen. There will be assignments outside of class, which will greatly facilitate our ability to go deep on this topic. Through discussion, document study of selected chapters, and sharing of papers we write, this will be a challenging scholar class for those who are ready for the next level in their Scholar Phase. WE MUST HAVE AT LEAST 5 ADULTS REGISTER IN ORDER TO HOLD THIS CLASS because we will be trading babysitting every other week with the Advanced Parent Class #2.
INTERMEDIATE PARENT CLASS: This two-semester class is geared for those who are feeling a bit overwhelmed with life for whatever reason, and would like a little gentler pace to their Scholar Phase. It will be a wonderful journey through our world's history of freedom . We will be reading and discussing selected chapters from the book: "The Majesty of God's Law" by W. Cleon Skousen during class. There will be no expectation of outside homework for this class. Everyone in the class will trade babysitting with Advanced Parent Class #1 every other week.
