Class Description: Kitchen Science is taking science to a whole new level. We will be learning about amino acids, caramelization , leavening, coagulation, melting points, fats, explosions and so much more. We will also be learning fractions, division, addition, subtraction, and counting in a fun, tactile, edible way. We will be learning Kitchen safety and protocol. Kitchen Etiquette is a great way to teach manners as well. At the end of the semester will be holding an Etiquette dinner. This is a fun class shaped after my own passion. I have loved cooking since I was a little girl and have worked with various chefs. We will also be starting their own recipe book. I look forward to sharing my passion for this art form. Cooking is very contagious so don't be surprised when your child just starts cooking up a storm in the kitchen. ( With your permission of course)
Note: This is a class dealing with cooking. We will be using ingredients like, wheat, corn, sugar, nuts, spices, herbs, dairy and many more ingredients that your child might have an allergic reaction to. Please consider this class carefully if you have an allergy to food.
