Class Description: 

Max class size 10 Ready to stretch yourself and go on grand adventures??? "To Narnia and the North" is a pre-scholar class for ages 10-13!! As such, we will be taking a "sneak" peak into what scholar phase is, why it's important, and the fundamentals of how it's done as we traverse the pages of C.S. Lewis's, "The Chronicles of Narnia." Students will be offered opportunities to share their excitement of the books through giving presentations, writing opinion papers, creating unique projects, memorization, and joining in book discussions, simulations, and activities as we learn true principles through this enduring classic. In keeping with this vision, rewards may be earned throughout the semester by completing specific (not-required) assignments. We will also be incorporating skits/mini plays (based on the books) into the class that the students will perform. If you love lions, castles, ships, and adventure, jump on board - This train departs for Narnia on the fourth of January.
